Appendix A Network Ports and Protocols
Note:
When a target machine is a virtual machine server, XenServer slaves cannot
recognize access to the shared disk from the target machine. When the number of
target disks to diagnose is zero, other virtual machine servers (ESX, standalone ESXi,
Xen, and Hyper-V) also cannot recognize the target disks are accessible or not.
Therefore, SigmaSystemCenter cannot judge the target machine is Normal using
Composite Diagnosis. In above cases, check that the target machine has no trouble,
and execute Clear Failure Status manually.
The following hardware parts statuses are not updated by executing Composite
Diagnosis. To recover to Normal, check that the target machine has no abnormalities,
and execute Reset(Ready) manually.
ClusterLan / ClusterNode / Connection State / Cpu Usage / CpuDegeneracy / CpuLoad
/ DeadOrAlive / Disk / DiskRecovery / DiskReplace / Heartbeat State / Memory Usage /
MemoryDegeneration / Network Connectivity / NetworkInterface / Node / Power State /
Resources(VM) / Storage Path Connectivity / AliveMonitoringState / PingState /
PortConnectivity
The following hardware parts statuses regarding VMware are recovered by total
recover diagnosis if the corresponding statuses are recovered.
Cpu Usage / Memory Usage / Hertbeat State / Connection State
If OOB Management is not enabled, the following hardware parts statuses are not
updated by executing Composite Diagnosis. To recover to Normal, check that the
target machine has no abnormalities, and execute Reset(Ready) manually.
Battery / Boot Error / Cable/Interconnect / Chassis / Chip Set / Cooling Device / Critical
Interrupt / Drive Slot(Bay) / Fan(Speed) / LAN / Management Subsystem Health /
Memory / Module/Board(Missing) / OS Critical Stop / Physical Security(Chassis
Intrusion) / POST Error / POST Memory Resize / Power Supply / Power Unit /
Processor / Slot/Connector / System Event / Temperature / Voltage
If the power status of the target machine is OFF, sensor status may not be judged
properly although OOB Management is enabled, then the hardware status cannot be
recovered using Composite Diagnosis. In such a case, check that the target machine
has no trouble, and execute Clear Failure Status manually.
