Target Machine Diagnosis for the Target Machine
Virtual machine server Executes Subsection 1.5.1, "Diagnosis Function."
Checks the following three points:
▪ Whether the target machine can connect to its virtual
infrastructure, such as VMware vCenter Server or
XenServer PoolMaster.
▪ Whether the host OS of the target machine is connectable
▪ Whether the shared disk used by the target machine is
accessible
* Does not check whether the target machine group has two
or more units of managed machines whose hardware status
are Faulted.
A machine on which Out-of-Band
Management function is being
used
Executes Subsection 1.5.2, "Sensor Diagnosis."
All machines Executes Subsection 1.5.3, "Hardware Parts Status
Diagnosis."
"Machine status / Set ready status by Total recover diagnosis", policy action of
diagnosis function, sets Normal for the hardware status of the target machine and ends
normally if the target machine is judged to be in normal status. If the target machine is
judged to be not in normal status, it ends abnormally.
Composite diagnosis in the Web Console uses Total recover diagnosis and set Normal
for hardware statuses.
