Sensor diagnosis called from Total recover diagnosis explained in Subsection 1.5.4,
"Total Recover Diagnosis" analyses all the sensors of a target managed machine
regardless of triggered events, and judges the target managed machine is Normal only
when all the sensors are normal. For a target machine with any sensor is not Normal,
sensor diagnosis judges the target machine is Abnormal and ends abnormally.
When sensor diagnosis cannot obtain sensor status due to power status of a target
machine, the sensor diagnosis also judges the target machine is Abnormal and ends
abnormally.
Set ready status by Total recover diagnosis, a policy action of diagnosis function, sets
Normal for the hardware status of the target machine and ends normally if the target
machine is judged to be in normal status.
1.5.3. Hardware Parts Status Diagnosis
Hardware Parts Status diagnosis diagnoses the status of a target machine based on
the hardware parts statuses configured according to which event happens.
SigmaSystemCenter checks the hardware parts statuses created or updated based on
the events notified from related products or related functions. When all the hardware
parts statuses are normal, SigmaSystemCenter judges the target machine is in normal
status.
"Machine status / Set ready status by HardwarePartsStatus diagnosis", policy action of
diagnosis function, sets Normal for the hardware status of the target machine and ends
normally if the target machine is judged to be in normal status. If the target machine is
judged to be not in normal status, it ends abnormally.
Related products and related functions offers events relevant to the hardware parts
statuses are as follows:
