Installation logs of DPM

Method
Each file has no limit for its file size.
Inst_Dpm_Db.log and Inst_Dpm_Jre.log are overwritten every time DPM Server is
installed, so their file sizes are not increased after installation of DPM Server.
The Inst_Dpm_Db.log and Inst_Dpm_Jre.log overwrite files of themselves for each
installation of DPM Server and their file size will not increase after installed DPM
server. In files other than those two files, their file size will increase monotonically.
Each file can be deleted manually.

Method
Each file has no limit for its file size.
ERRORLOG is managed up to seven generations. (If SQL Server (DPMDBI)
restarts,, the file is renamed to "ERRORLOG.1." Then, other "ERRORLOG.n"s are
also renamed to "ERRORLOG.n+1"s and "ERRORLOG.6" is deleted.)
log_n.trc is managed up to five generations. (If log_1.trc - log_5.trc exist and SQL
Server (DPMDBI) service is restarted, the log_1.trc is deleted and log_6.trc is newly
created.)
ERRORLOG cannot be deleted.
log_n.trc cannot be deleted if SQL Server (DPMDBI) service is running, but past
logs can be deleted manually.
 DPM Client (Windows)
The logs output in a DPM Client installed machine (Windows) are as follows:

Method
The maximum size of DPMTray.log is 1 MB. The maximum size of the other files is 2
MB.
DepAgent.log and rupdsvc.log is managed up to two generations. (If they exceed
their maximum file sizes, the file names are renamed to "*.log.bak"s and the original
"*.log.bak"s are deleted.)
Each file can be deleted manually.
