2.3.2. Logs of DPM
The logs DPM outputs are as follows:

The logs output in a DPM Server installed machine are as follows:

Method
The maximum size of apitrace.log is 1 MB.
The maximum size of pmdb.log and pminfo.log is 16 KB.
The maximum size of files other than the above mentioned is 10 MB.
The *.csv files are managed up to five generations. (If a *.csv file exceeds the
maximum size, the file is renamed to "*.csv.1." Then, other "*.csv.n" files are also
renamed to "*.csv.n+1" and "*.csv.4" is deleted.)
If apitrace.log exceeds its maximum file size, the file content is overwritten from the
start line.
The pmdb.log, pminfo.log, and rupdssvc_Managed Machine Name_Managed
Machine's MAC Address.log is managed up to two generations. (If they exceed their
maximum file sizes, the file names are renamed to "*.log.bak"s and the original
"*.log.bak"s are deleted.)
Furthermore, each file can be deleted manually. (Because *.csv and apitrace.log
cannot be deleted if the DPM services are running, stop the DPM services and
delete the files manually.)
