Storage configuration guidelines
vSphere allows more than one method of using storage when hosting
virtual machines. The solutions described in Table 11 were tested using NFS
or FC, and the storage layout described adheres to all current best
practices. An educated customer or architect can make modifications
based on their understanding of the systems usage and load if required.
