Figure 18 shows the file storage logical architecture. The 10 GbE IP network
carries all traffic.

Note: This solution also supports 1 Gb Ethernet if the bandwidth
requirements are met.
VMware Horizon View Manager Server 5.3—Provides virtual desktop
delivery, authenticates users, manages the assembly of users' virtual
desktop environments, and brokers connections between users and their
virtual desktops. In this solution architecture, VMware Horizon View
Manager 5.3 is installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 and hosted as a virtual
machine on a VMware vSphere server. Two VMware Horizon View
Manager Servers are used in this solution.
Virtual desktops—Persistent virtual desktops running Windows 7 are
provisioned as VMware Horizon View Linked Clones.
