Brocade VDX 6740 switches can be uplinked to be accessible from
customer’s existing network infrastructure. On VDX 6740 platforms, the user
will need to use 40GbE or 10GbE uplinks. The uplink should be configured
to match whether or not the customer’s network is using tagged or
untagged traffic.
The following example can be leveraged as a guideline to connect VCS
fabric to existing infrastructure network:

Creating virtual link aggregation groups (vLAGs) to the Infrastructure
Network
Create vLAGs from each RBridge to Infrastructure Switches that in turn
provide access to resources at the core network.
This example illustrates the configuration for Port-Channel 4 on RB21 and
RB22.
1. Use the switchport command to configure Port-Channel 4
interface. The following example assigns it to trunk mode and
allows all VLANs on the port channel.
