Note: On the Brocade VDX 6740, ports in groups 3 and 3A, as well as port
groups 4 and 4A, can be trunked together only when the 40 GbE QSFP
ports are configured in breakout mode. On the Brocade VDX
6740T/6740T-1G model, this trunking is not allowed.

You can use the fabric isl enable, fabric trunk enable, no fabric isl enable,
and no fabric trunk enable to toggle the ports which are part of a trunked
ISL, if needed. The following example shows the running configuration of
an ISL port on RB21-
BRCD6740-21# show running-config interface FortyGigabitEthernet
21/0/49
interface FortyGigabitEthernet 21/0/49
fabric isl enable
fabric trunk enable
no shutdown
