nexttothevCenterServerhierarchyinthevCenterChargebackapplication.Thisrefreshbuttonisdisplayed
onlyifthereisachangeinthevCenterServ erhierarchyandtheHierarchyManagertab
isrefreshed.Thetab
canberefreshedbyuseractions,suchasclickinganothertaboftheapplicationandthenclickingtheManage
Hierarchytab.
Unable to Fetch the Primary Group of a LDAP User
AprobablereasoncouldbethattheprimarygroupdoesnotcomeundertheprovidedbaseDN.Onlythe
groupsandusersdefinedunderthespecifiedDNintheActiveDirectoryhierarchycanbeviewedfromand
addedtovCenterChargeback.
Unable to Access the vCenter Chargeback Application
Checkwhetheralltherelevantservicesarerunning.Thefollowingservicesmustbestartedandrunning:
VMwarevCenterChargebackService
VMwarevCenterChargebackLoadBalancerService
VMwarevCenterChargebackDataCollector
Ifalltherequiredservicesarestartedandrunning,checkwhethertheWindowsFirewallisenabledonthe
machineonwhichvCenterChargebackandtheloadbalancerisinstalledandrunning.IfWindowsFirewallis
enabled,ensurethatportexceptionsareaddedfortheHTTP,loadbalancer,
andHTTPSportsthatare
configuredforvCenterChargebackduringtheinstallation.
