tocreatemultiplechargebackhierarchies,whichcanbedifferentfromthevCenterServerhierarchies.
Achargebackhierarchyisanorganization
ofvCenterServerentitiesandvCenterChargebackentities.
The vCenterServerentitiesincludevirtualmachines,ESXServerhosts,datacenters,resourcepools,host
folders,andvirtual machinefolders.AchargebackhierarchycancontainentitiesfrommorethanonevCenter
Server.ThevCenterChargebackentitiesarecustomentitiesthatcouldrepresentalogical
parentforthe
vCenterServerentities.Forexample,thevCenterChargebackentitiescouldrepresentthedepartments,cost
