Ifanyrolehasalreadybeenassignedtotheuserontheselectedhierarchy,thesameisdisplayedunder
CurrentlyAssignedRole.
YoucanselectmultipleusersbyholdingdowntheCTRLkeywhileselectingtherequiredusers.
4 Selecttherequiredrolefrom
thelistunderSetRole.
5ClickApply.
TheRolescolumninthetablelistingtheusersdisplaysatickmarkcorrespondingtotheusertowhichthe
roleisassigned.
Therolesetontheuserisapplicableonlyfortheselectedhierarchy.Youmustindividuallyassignrolestothe
userto
accessthevarioushierarchiescreatedintheapplication.Youcansetaroleonauseronlyatthe
hierarchylevelandnotforindividualentities.
Modify Permissions at Entity Level
Afterauseriscreated,youcanassignpermissionstotheuserontheentitiesinahierarchy.Youcanalso
reassignanewsetofpermissionstoauserafteraroleisassignedtotheuser.
Thepermissionsdefinedintheapplicationdonothaveanyhierarchicalstructure.That
is,eachpermissionis
anindependentpermission.Forexample,assigningtheManageChargebackHierarchypermissiononauser
doesnotmeanthattheuseralsohastheViewChargebackHierarchypermission.Youmust,therefore,ensure
thatindividualpermissionsareseparatelyassignedtotheuser.
To assign a permission to a user on an entity in the hierarchy

clickPermissions.
Apagelistingalltheusers,theirtype,andwhethertheuserisaSuperUserisdisplayed.Thepagealso
providesanoptiontoselectahierarchy.
2 Selecttherequiredhierarchyfromthelistofhierarchies.
Therightmostpaneonthepagedisplaysalistoftheroles
definedintheapplication.
3 Expandthehierarchyandselecttotheentityforwhichyouwanttoassignpermissions.
Therightmostpaneonthepagedisplaysasetofpermissionsthatcanbeassignedtoanyuserforthat
entity.
4 Selecttheuserfromthetablelistingtheusers.
Youcan
selectmultipleusersbyholdingdowntheCTRLkeywhileselectingtherequiredusers.
5 SelecttherequiredpermissionsfromtheSetPermissionspane.
6ClickApply.
Thepermissionsaresetontheuserforthatentityanditschildentities.Youcanassignadditional
permissionstotheuseronthechildentities.
NOTEYoucansetonlyasingleroleonauserforahierarchy.Iftheuseralreadyhasaroleassignedtoit
forthegivenhierarchy,thesameisremovedandthenewroleissetontheuserforthehierarchy.
