Thedatacollectorisdeletedandthesynchronizationjobsassociatedwiththedatacollectorareassignedto
otherregistereddatacollectors,ifany.
Manage License
YoucanviewthedetailsofthecurrentvCenterChargebackapplicationlicensebyclickingLicenseonthe
Settingstab.Thepagedisplaysthefollowinglicenseinformation:
LicenseKey:Thecurrentlicensekeyusedtoaccesstheapplication.
ActivatedOn:Thedateandtimewhentheapplicationwasactivatedusingthecurrentlicensekey.
ExpiryDate:Thedateonwhichtheexistinglicensewillexpire.
CurrentESXHostCPUs:ThetotalnumberofCPUsofallthepowered‐onESXhoststhatarecurrently
addedtothechargebackhierarchiesdefinedintheapplication.IfallthevirtualmachinesinanESXhost
arepoweredoff,theCPUsintheESXhostarenotconsideredin
thiscount.
MaximumESXHostCPUs:vCenterChargebackprovidesCPU‐basedlicensing.Thisentryindicatesthe
maximumnumberofESXhostCPUsthatthecurrentlicenseisvalidfor.
IsValid:Whetherthecurrentlicenseisvalidornot.

Replace License
Youmustreplaceanexpiredlicensewithavalidlicense.Youcanalsoreplaceanexistingvalidlicensewith
anothervalidlicense.
To replace an existing license
1IntheSettingstab,clickLicense.
Atablelistingthedetailsofthelicenseaddedtotheapplicationisdisplayed.
2ClickReplace.
TheReplaceLicensescreenisdisplayed.
3Enter
thelicensekeyandclickReplace.
Thenewlicensereplacestheexistinglicense.Thedetailsofthenewlicenseisdisplayedinthetable.
Delete License
Anexistinglicensecanberemovedfromtheapplication.
To remove a license
1IntheSettingstab,clickLicense.
Atablelistingthedetailsofthelicenseaddedtotheapplicationisdisplayed.
2 SelectthelicenseandclickDelete.
Adialogconfirmingtheactionisdisplayed.
3ClickOKtoconfirmthedeletion.

MPORTANTIfonlyasingledatacollectorisrunning,donotdeleteit.Ifdeleted,thesynchronizationjobswill
notrunandthedatainthevCenterChargebackdatabasewillnotbeinsyncwiththedatainthevCenterServer
databases.
