ThedefaultselectionisUpdatefromnowonwards,indicatingthedefinedcostwillbeeffectivefromthe
timeofcreationofthefixedcosttillinfinity.
TheotheroptionisUpdatefortheeffectiveperiod.If
youselectthisoption,youmustspecifythestart
andenddateoftheperiodforwhichthecostwillbeeffective.Youmustenterthedatesinthemm/dd/yyyy
format.Iftheenddateisnotspecified,thecostwillbeeffectivefromthespecifiedstartdatetillinfinity.

thevalueofthecostandselectthedurationindicatinghowoftenthecostisincurred.
ThedurationcanbeDaily,Weekly,Monthly,Quarterly,Half‐yearly,orYearly.

Thenewlycreatedfixedcostisaddedtothetablelistingthefixedcosts.
Afterafixedcostiscreated,youcan
associateitwithanentity,asetofentities,orhierarchies.Thiscanbedone
whileconfiguringcostsattheentitylevel.Fixedcostscanalsobeaddedtoatemplateandthensetonanentity
orahierarchy.
Modify a Fixed Cost
Youcanmodifythefixedcostsasandwhenrequired.
To edit a fixed cost
1IntheManageCosttab,clickFixedCost.
Atablelistingallthefixedcostscreatedintheapplicationisdisplayed.Youcanviewthedetailsofthe
fixedcostbyclickingtheplussign(+)intheDetailscolumnof
thetable.Thedetailsincludethevalueof
thecost,thedurationindicatinghowoftenthecostischarged,andthetimeperiodforwhichthesetvalue
anddurationisvalidorapplicable.
2 SelectthefixedcostthatyouwanttomodifyandclickEdit.
TheFixedCostscreenis
displayed.
3IntheGeneraltab,modifythenameanddescriptionofthefixedcost.
4IntheCostDetailstab,settheperiodforwhichthecostvalueanddurationwillbeeffective.
ThedefaultselectionisUpdatefromnowonwards,indicatingthatthedefinedcostdetailwillbeeffective
fromthe
timeofupdatingthefixedcosttillinfinity.
TheotheroptionisUpdatefortheeffectiveperiod.Ifyouselectthisoption,youmustspecifythestart
andenddateoftheperiodforwhichthecostwillbeeffective.Youmustenterthedatesinthemm/dd/yyyy
format.Ifthe
enddateisnotspecified,thecostdetailwillbeeffectivefromthespecifiedstartdatetill
