Manage Attributes
Anattributeprovidesadditionalinformationaboutanentityinanhierarchy.Youcandefineanattributein
theapplicationandthenassignittoanentity.Forexample,youcancreateanattributecalledGeo_location,
andthenassignittovariousentitiesandsetvaluesindicatingtheirgeographiclocations.To

Add Attribute
YoucandefineoneormoreattributesinvCenterChargeback.
To add an attribute
1IntheSettingstab,clickManageAttributes.
2ClickCreate.
TheCreateastaticattributescreenisdisplayed.
3Enterthenameanddescriptionfortheattribute.
Aattributecanbeattachedtoanentitytoprovideadditionalinformationabouttheentity.The
attributes
associatedwithanentitycanbeincludedinthechargebackreports.
4ClickCreate.
Theattributeisaddedtothetablelistingtheattributesaddedtotheapplication.
Delete Attribute
Theattributesthatarenotrequiredcanbedeletedfromtheapplication.Whenyoudeleteanattribute,itis
permanentlydeletedalongwiththecorrespondingvaluessetontheentities.
To remove an attribute
1IntheSettingstab,clickManageAttributes.
Atablelistingalltheattributesaddedtotheapplicationisdisplayed.
2 Selectthe
attributethatyouwanttoremove.
3ClickDelete.
YoucanalsodeleteattributesthatareimportedfromthevCenterServer.Deletingtheseattributesfromthe
applicationwillnotdeletethemforthevCenterServer.
