Application is Not Visible in the AppSpeed User Interface
Problem
TheapplicationdoesnotappearintheAppSpeeduserinterface.
Solution
1IntheAnalysismodule,selectApplicationsandServersintheInventorytree.
2 SelectUnmappedTrafficonthepageselectionbar.
3ClicktheServerstabandsearchfortheserverthatrunstheapplicationundertherelevantprotocol.
Alownumberofhitsindicatesthattheapplicationisnotyetmapped.IntheTransactionstab,youcan
seethetransactionsthatarenotmappedtoanapplicationbecauseofalownumberofhits.
4Iftheserverisnotdiscovered,verifythatanAppSpeedprobeisrunningandconnectedtothesame
vSwitchthat
theserverusesfortraffichandling.
AppSpeed Probe Deployment Shows In Progress But Deployment Failed
Problem
TheAppSpeeddeploymentstatusbardisplaysInProgresswhendeploymentfails.
Cause
Astorageproblem,suchaslonglatenciesoroutages,preventscommunicationwithAppSpeed.
Solution
1IfthevSphereClientreturnstheUnable to access fileerror,usetheAppSpeedinterfacetodeletethe
probe.
2Verifythatthestorageproblemsdonotrecurorselect
differentstorageandredeploytheprobes.
Fordetailedinstructionsaboutdeletingandredeployingaprobe,see“DeleteProbes”onpage 29.Formore
assistancewithtroubleshootingstorageproblems,contactyourstoragevendor .
Alinkedclonemightremainvisibleintheinventoryafterprobesaredeleted.Itwillberemovedwhenanew
deploymentisinitiated.
