Problem
YouclicktheAppSpeediconinthevSphereClientorVIClient,buttheAppSpeedviewdoesnotload.
Cause
Aconnectiontotheservercannotbeestablishedorthereisanissuewithproxysettings.This
typeoferroris
usuallyprecededbyoneofthefollowingmessages:ReceivedaconnectivityerrororURLErrorreceived.
Solution
1LogintotheAppSpeedservervirtualmachineastheconsoleuser.
2Fromtheconsole,runrestart_AppSpeed.
3VerifywithITthatport80isopenonthefirewall.
4RestartthevSphereClient
orVIClient.
5 WaitafewminutesfortheAppSpeeduserinterfacetoload.
6Iftheuserinterfacestilldoesnotload,reinstalltheuserinterfacefromtheplug‐inwindow.
Problem
Thefollowingerrorappearsintheuserinterface:
UnabletocommunicatewithAppSpeedserver:failedtodownloadUImodulefromhttp://<vCenteraddress>/AppSpeed>,
consultyoursystemadministrator.
Cause
AnHTTPconnectiontotheAppSpeedserverisrefusedduetocertificateauthorizationissues.
Solution
1InInternetExplorerorFirefox,gotohttp://<AppSpeedserverIP>.
Amessageappearsindicatingthattheserver’scertificatemustbeapprov edbeforethemachineallows
HTTPconnections.
2 Approvethecertificate
usingtheWebbrowser.
3RestarttheVIClient.
4ClicktheAppSpeedbutton.
