Connectiontimedout.VerifythevCenteraddressandtryagain.
Cause
ThevCenterHTTPSWebServiceportisblockedtotrafficbetweentheAppSpeedserverandvCenterServer.
Solution
1VerifywithITthatthevCenterHTTPSWebServiceportonthefirewallisopenfromtheAppSpeedserver
tovCenterServer.
2Runsetupagain.
3Iftheproblempersists,tryrunningTelnettothevCenterIPwiththevCenterHTTPSWebService
configuredtoport443toverifythattheportis
open.
Problem
Thefollowingerrormessageappears:
Theremoteserverreturnedanerror:ServerUnavailable
Cause
ThevSphereClientorVIClientusesHTTPtodownloadtheAppSpeeduserinterfacefromtheAppSpeed
server.IfthefirewallbetweenthevSphereClientorVIClientandtheAppSpeedserverisclosedforport80,
thedownloadfails.
Solution
1Verifythatport80isopenonthefirewall.
2Iftheproblempersists,logintotheAppSpeedservervirtualmachineastheconsoleuserandrun
restart_AppSpeed.
Problem
Thefollowingerrormessageappears:
Theapplicationfailedtoinitializeproperly,clickOKtoterminatetheapplication.
Cause
AproblemoccurredintheAppSpeedserver.
Solution
1LogintotheAppSpeedservervirtualmachineastheconsoleuser.
2Fromtheconsole,runrestart_AppSpeed.
