AppSpeedisabletomonitorvNetworkDistributedSwitches.However,AppSpeedisunabletodirectlyinstall
aprobethatwillmonitorsuchavNetworkDistributedSwitch.
Toinstallaprobe,youmustspecifyanavailablevSwitchtomonitor.Lateron,youneedtocreatea
promiscuousdvPortGroupandchangethenetworksettings
oftheprobetomonitorthevNetworkDistributed
Switch.AswithvSwitches,AppSpeedmonitorsonlythevirtualmachinesonhostsonwhichtheprobesare
installed.
Create a dvPortGroup
IfyoudeployavNetworkDistributedSwitch,itisrecommendedthatyouaddanewportgroup.
To create a port group

otherprobes,youmustfirstcreateanewtemporaryvSwitchbefore
