To configure the appliance role for Core
1Attheapplianceroleprompt,typethecommand:

3Performthefollowingstepsonlyonaggregatororsingle‐boxmachine:
aLogintotheserverwithuserasnlayersbyrunningthefollowingcommand:
$ su - nlayers
bRunthefollowingscripttocreatethedatabase:
#cd /home/nlayers/Seneca/db_scripts/oracle
#./db_create.sh prod
cLogoutoftheserverandloginagainasarootuser.
dRunthefollowingcommand:
# adm_control --restart all
Whenprompted,entertheIPaddressoftheexternaldatabase.
