To install the Oracle Client

1Deployandpowerontheaggregator.

2TypeNoattheappliancerolepromptandpressEnter.

3Logintothesystemwithuserasroot.

4InstalltheOracleClientasfollows.

aVersion:11.2.0.1(linux_11gR2_client.zip).

bUploadthezipfiletoADMcoremachineat/home/oracle.

cUnzipthefile.

dCopytherspfiletothecurrentfolder.

cp client/response/client_install.rsp .

eModifytherspfileasfollows:

i UNIX_GROUP_NAME=oinstall

ii INVENTORY_LOCATION=/opt/oracle/app/oracle/oraInventory

iii SELECTED_LANGUAGES=en

iv ORACLE_HOMEshouldbe/opt/oracle/app/oracle/product/11.2/client
