2Afterthepostscanprocessiscomplete,intheSetupCapture‐ReadytoBuilddialog,click
EditPackage.ini.
ThePackage.inifileopensinatexteditor.
3Searchfortheservicesentry.
The
entryisfollowedbythenameoftheservicethatyoucaptured.
Bydefault,theentryiscommentedout.
4Removethesemicolon(;)fromthestartoftheline.
5 SavethePackage.inifile.
6BuildtheThinAppproject.
Youcannowregisteryourvirtualservicesothatitcanbemanagedbyusingthenativeservicesmanagement
tools.
Register the virtual service on a machine
1RuntheThinReg.exeapplication.
2Atthecommandline,typeC:\Program Files\VMware\VMware ThinApp\ThinReg /a *.exe.
Youmustuse/a toregisterservices.IfyourunThinAppwithoutthisoption,theserviceisnotregistered.
Youcanchangethepath,ifrequiredforyoursystem.

Yourvirtualserviceapplicationappearsinthelistofservices.
Youcanmanagetheserviceinthesamewayasanynativelyinstalledservice.
