Thesysprep.exeutilityremovesthesecurityIDassignedtotheguestoperating
system,resetsthemachineinformation,andresetstheTCP/IPnetwork
configuration.
2Shutdowntheguestoperatingsystemandpoweroffthevirtualmachine.
3 CreateavirtualmachinedirectorynamedSQL2inthe
samedatastoreasSQL1.
4CopytheSQL1*.vmdkfilestothisdirectory.
5UsetheVMwareVirtualDiskManagertochangethenameofthevirtualdiskto
