Changing the Teamed Networking Mode
Ifyouchangetheteamednetworkingmode,youmustdeletetheoriginalnetwork
adapterteamonthehostandcreateanewteam.Donotmodifyavirtualmachine’s
networkadapterteamingsettings.
Setting Up Two Separate Host-Only Networks
Forsomeconfigurations,youmightneedtosetupmorethanonehost‐onlynetworkon
thesamehostcomputer.
Youmight,forexample,wanttohavetwovirtualmachinesconnectedtoonehost‐only
network,andatthesametimehaveothervirtualmachinesconnectedtoanother
host‐onlynetwork.
Thissetupisolatesnetworktrafficoneachnetwork.
Oryoumightwanttotestroutingbetweentwovirtualnetworks.Ortestavirtual
machinewithmultiplenetworkinterfacecards—withoutusinganyphysical network
adapters.
OnWindowshosts,thefirsthost‐onlynetworkissetupautomaticallywhenyouinstall
VMwareServer.
