Setting Up the Windows Host

To set up bridged networking on a Windows host
1OpentheWindowsControlPanel,andopenNetworkConnections(onaWindows
Server2003host)
oropenNetworkandDialupConnections(onaWindows2000
host).
2Rightclicktheteamednetworkadapterdevice,andselectPropertiestobindthe
VMwareBridgeProtocoltotheteamednetworkadapter.
3CheckVMwareBridgeProtocol.
4ClickOKtoclosethepropertysheet.
5Rightclickthenetworkadapter,andselectProperties
tounbindthe
VMware BridgeProtocolfromeachphysicalnetworkadapterthatisbeingused
forbridgednetworking.
