To configure the DHCP server on a Linux host

aLinuxhost,configurethehostonlyDHCPserverbyeditingtheDHCP
configurationfileforVMnet1(/etc/vmware/vmnet1/dhcp/dhcp.conf).
2ToconfiguretheDHCPserverfortheNATnetwork,edittheconfigurationfilefor
VMnet8(/etc/vmware/vmnet8/dhcp/dhcp.conf).
EditingtheDHCPserverconfigurationfilerequiresinformationthatisbest
obtaineddirectlyfromthe
DHCPserverdocumentation.

editor.

VirtualNetworks.

hostonlyandNATnetworks.
