AudioPCIadapter.Tousesoundintheseguestoperatingsystems,downloadthedriver
fromtheCreativeLabsWebsite(www.creative.com)andinstallitin
theguest
operatingsystem.CreativeLabshasanumberofWebsitesservingvariousregionsof
theworld.Theadapternamevaries,dependingontheregion,butusuallyincludes
PCI 128.

2OnthePropertiespage,selectthephysicalsoundadapteron
thehostmachine,or
selectAutoDetect(thedefault)todetectthesoundadapterautomatically.
3 (Optional)Toconnectthisvirtualmachinetothesoundadapterwhenthevirtual
machineispoweredon,selectConnectatpoweron(thedefault).
4ClickNext.
TheReadytoCompletepagedisplaysthehardwaresettings.
5Reviewthe
configurationsummary,andclickFinishtocompletethewizard.
Editing a Virtual Sound Adapter
Youcaneditthesoundadaptertochangetheconnectiontypeandwhetheritis
connectedatpoweron.
To edit an existing sound adapter
1 SelectthevirtualmachineintheInventorypanel.
2IntheHardwaresectionoftheSummarytab,clickthesoundadaptertomodify
andselectEdit.
