Changing Virtual Machine Snapshot Settings
Thissectiondescribeshowtochangesnapshotsettingsforthevirtualmachine.With
thesesettings,youcandothefollowing:
Lockthecurrentsnapshotsothatitcannotbeupdated
Reverttothecurrentsnapshotwhenpoweringoff
Forinformationaboutusingsnapshotsto preservethestateofthevirtualmachine,see
“UsingSnapshots”onpage 195.
Locking the Snapshot
Lockingthecurrentsnapshotpreventsitfrombeingoverwritten.Thesnapshotmust
alreadyexist.
To lock the current snapshot
1IntheCommandssectionofthevirtualmachine’sSummarytab,clickConfigure
VM.
2ClicktheSnapshottab.
3IntheCurrentSnapshotsection,selectLockthissnapshot.
Ifthischeckboxcannotbeselected,itmeansthatno
snapshotexists.
4ClickOKtosaveyourchangesandreturntotheSummarytab.
