When a local mode operation such as a check-out, check-in, or replication is performed, View validates
that
the View desktop's virtual machine in vCenter Server was not modified since the last synchronization
with the local View desktop. If a virtual machine disk in vCenter Server was modified, and the disk is
not the same as the local desktop version, you can use the vdmadmin command with the -V option to
preserve data on the local desktop and vCenter Server virtual machine and ensure that both versions are
synchronized.

vdmadmin Command Usage
The syntax of the vdmadmin command controls its operation.
Use the following form of the vdmadmin command from a Windows command prompt.

The additional options that you can use depend on the command option.
By default, the path to the vdmadmin command executable file is C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware
View\Server\tools\bin. To avoid having to enter the path on the command line, add the path to your PATH
environment variable.
