After you connect to a server, you can drag and drop a desktop or application shortcut from the
Horizon Client desktop and application selection window into another app, such as Notes. The shortcut
appears as a URI in the other app, for example, vmware-view://server-name/item-name.
If you drag and drop a server, desktop, or application shortcut from Horizon Client into a folder on the
Mac, Horizon Client creates a shortcut file in the folder. You can double-click this shortcut file to start
Horizon Client and connect to the server, remote desktop, or application.
