General Settings
Table 7‑7 describes the general settings in the Horizon Common Configuration ADMX template files. All of
the settings are in the Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > VMware
View Common Configuration folder in the Group Policy Management Editor.

Setting Properties
Disk threshold for log and events in
Megabytes
Specifies the minimum remaining disk space threshold for logs and events. If
no value is specified, the default is 200. When the specified value is met, event
logging stops.
Enable extended logging
Determines whether trace and debug events are included in the log files.
Override the default View Windows event
generation
The following values are supported:
n
0 = Event log entries are only produced for view events (no event log
entries are generated for log messages)
n
1 = Event log entries are produced in 4.5 (and earlier) compatibility mode.
Event log entries are not produced for standard view events. Event log
entries are based solely on log file text.
n
2 = Event log entries are produced in 4.5 (and earlier) compatibility mode
with view events also being included.
