Predefined Roles and Privileges
View Administrator includes predened roles that you can assign to your administrator users and groups.
You can also create your own administrator roles by combining selected privileges.

Predened Administrator Roles on page 109
The predened administrator roles combine all of the individual privileges required to perform
common administration tasks. You cannot modify the predened roles.

Global Privileges on page 111
Global privileges control system-wide operations, such as viewing and changing global seings. Roles
that contain only global privileges cannot be applied to access groups.

Object-Specic Privileges on page 112
Object-specic privileges control operations on specic types of inventory objects. Roles that contain
object-specic privileges can be applied to access groups.

Internal Privileges on page 112
Some of the predened administrator roles contain internal privileges. You cannot select internal
privileges when you create custom roles.
