In View Administrator, you can perform management operations such as conguring or deleting desktop
pools, farms, or RDS hosts.

Managing Application Pools
You can add, edit, delete, or entitle application pools in View Administrator.
To add an application pool, see "Creating Application Pools" in the Seing Up Desktop and Application Pools in
View document. To entitle an application pool, see "Entitling Users and Groups" in the Seing Up Desktop and
Application Pools in View document.
Edit an Application Pool
You can edit an existing application pool to congure seings such as display name, version, publisher,
path, start folder, parameters, and description. You cannot change the ID or access group of an application
pool.
If you need to ensure that View Connection Server launches the application only on RDS hosts that have
sucient resources to run the application, see “Congure an Anti-Anity Rule for an Application Pool,” on
page 199.
Prerequisites
Familiarize yourself with the seings of an application pool. See “Creating Application Pools” in the Seing
Up Desktop and Application Pools in View document.
Procedure
1 In View Administrator, select Catalog > Application Pools.
2 Select a pool and click Edit.
3 Make changes to the pool seings.
4 Click OK.
