Configuring Virtual Machine Memory from the
Management Interface
To set the size of an individual virtual machine’s memory from the VMware
Management Interface, complete the following steps.
1. Connect to the virtual machine with the management interface.
2. On the Status Monitor page, choose Configure Hardware, then click Edit next to
Processors and Memory.
3. Type the amount of memory to allocate to the virtual machine. The value must
be a multiple of four.
Note: The minimum size of the memory for the virtual machine should be set
based on the recommendations of the operating system provider.
