Managing Disk Bandwidth from the Management Interface
You!can!view!and!change!settings!from!the!virtual!machine!details!pages!in!the!
VMware!Management!Interface.!To!change!disk!bandwidth!settings,!you!must!be!
logged!in!as!root!and!the!virtual!machine!must!be!running.!
To change disk bandwidth settings
1On!the!server’s!Status!Monitor!page,!click!the!name!of!an!individual!virtual!
machine.!
The!details!page!for!that!virtual!machine!appears.!
2Click!the!Disk!tab.!
3Click!Edit.!
The!Disk!Resource!Settings!dialog!box!appears.
4Specify!the!shares!value,!and!click!OK.!

You!can!edit!the!configuration!file!using!a!text!editor!on!the!service!console!or!through!
the!management!interface.
