Chapter 10 Configuration for Clustering
10 To!add!a!cluster!services!account!in!the!domain,!go!to!Programs!>!Administrative!
Tools!>!Active!Directory!Users!and!Computers.!
11 Add!an!account!named!cluster, !check!User!cannot!change!password!and!
Password!never!expires.
12 Insert!the!Windows!2000!Adv anced!Server!CD!in!the!server’s!CD‐ROM!drive.

Control!Panel!>!Add/Remove!Programs.

24 Start!the!Disk!Administrator!and!assign!the!first!shared!disk!to!Q:!(quorum)!and!

25 Start!dcpromo.exe!and!add!this!virtual!machine!as!a!domain!controller!in!the!
same!domain!created!in!Step 7!or!add!it!to!an!existing!domain.!
