Fusion supports shared folders in certain Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

Guest Operating Systems That Support Mirrored Folders
You can use mirrored folders with virtual machines that are running a variety of Windows
operating systems.
Fusion supports mirrored folders in these Windows operating systems.
n Windows 10
n Windows 8
n Windows 7
n Windows Vista
n Windows XP
Fusion does not support mirrored folders for Windows 2000 and earlier, or for Windows Server
2003 and Windows Server 2008. For virtual machines with unsupported guest operating
systems, the choices are disabled in the Sharing panel of the Settings window.
