AlthoughyoucansortandresizecolumnsineithertheVMwareACEHelpDeskorthe
Workstationinstanceview,youcanshow,hide,andmovecolumnsonlyinthe
Workstationinstanceview.
Columnchangesforoneserverdonotaffectotherservers.
To show, hide, and move columns in the instance view
1InWorkstation,connecttotheACEManagementServerand
login.

2Toshoworhideacolumn,right‐clickthecolumnheadingrowandselector
deselectthecolumntoshoworhide.
Ifyoushowacolumnthatwaspreviouslyhidden,thecolumnisaddedtotheright
sideofthe
table.
3Tomoveacolumn,clickthecolumnheader,dragthecolumntoanewlocation,and
releasethemousebutton.
Create or Delete Custom Columns in the Instance View
Customcolumnsenableyoutoaddcategoriesofinformationabouttheinstancesthat
anACEManagementServermanages.Forexample,youcanaddaHelpTicketcolumn
torecordtheIDassociatedwithendusers’supportrequests.
YoucancreatecustomcolumnsonlyintheWorkstationinstanceview.Intheinstance
viewtable,youcanadd,delete,andrenameuptoninecustomcolumns.

theNametextboxandclickOK.
4Tochangethenameofordeleteacustomcolumn,right‐clickthecustomcolumn
headerandchooseacommandfromthecontextmenu.
Afteryoucreateacustomcolumn,usetheInstanceDetailspageforeachACEinstance
toaddinformationtodisplay.
