Install the Required Services for Load Balancing

To install the required services for load balancing
1InstalltheACEManagementServerpackageontwoormoremachines(orvirtual
machines).

2ConfigureeachACEManagementServerseparatelytoaccessthesameexternal
database.

BothACEManagementServerinstallationsmustbeabletoidentifythesamedata
storesoeitherinstallationcanfieldqueriesforclientsandscalethenumberof
clientsthatcanbeserved.
3ToverifythatbothACEManagementServerinstancesareworkingproperly,start
Workstationandconnect
toeachACEManagementServerdirectly:
aInWorkstation,chooseFile>ConnecttoACEManagementServer.
bEntertheIPorhostnameofthemachinewhereACEManagementServeris
installed,changethenumberinthePortfieldifnecessary,andclickOK.
Thesetupissuccessfulifyoucanview
thesamedataintheInstanceViewwindow
foreachACEManagementServerinstance.IfyoucreateatestACEandpreview
it,youseethepreviewinstanceonbothservers.

Foraload‐balancingsolution,youcancopytheSSLcertificateandkeyfromoneACE
ManagementServertoanother.
CAUTIONThisproceduredirectsyoutouploadboththecertificatefile(the.crtfile)
andthematchingkeyfile(the.keyfile).Ifyoudonotuploadboth,theApachehttpd
serviceonthesecondACMManagementServermightfreeze.Inthiscase,youmust
uninstallandreinstallACEManagementServer.
