EmbeddedDatabase–Selectthisoptionifyouplantousethedefault
embeddedSQLitedatabaseengine.ThenclickNext.
ExternalDatabase(ODBC‐compatible)–Selectthisoptiontouseanexternal
database,eitherMicrosoftSQLServerorOracleDatabase10g(Windows)or
PostgreSQL(Linux).ProvidethedatabaseDSN,username,andpassword.
Afteryouenterthedatabaseconnectioncredentials,thesetupapplication
checksforanexistingdatabase.Ifthedatabaseispresent,thesetup
applicationoffersanoptiontore‐initializeit(erasealldata,restoringthe
databasetoitsdefaultstate;thedefaultsettingfortheoptionis“No”).Youcan
also
usethereinitializationoptionatalatertime(aftersetupiscomplete,by
revisitingthispage)toresetthedatabase.
Ifthedatabasesetupisunsuccessful,theserversetupwillfailandtheserver
wonʹtbeabletostart.

ServertoanexistingLDAPdirectory,inthiscaseanActiveDirectoryservice,select
DomainAccount(LDAP).

schemawillbeupgradedautomaticallyandyouwillnotloseyourpreviousdata.
Theupgradewillbedoneonthefirststartoftheupgradedserver,evenifyoudo
