To set your Pocket ACE close behavior
1 ChooseEditPolicies>RuntimePreferences.
2InthePocketACEsectionoftheRuntimePreferencesdialogbox,selectfromthe
followingoptions:
Lettheuserchoose
WhenclosingACE,youwillbegiventheopportunitytochoosefromthe
followingoptions:
Shutdownandsynchronize
Suspendandstayconnectedtothiscomputer
Showadvancedoptions(Suspendandsynchronize,Reverttolastsync)
Alwayssynchronizechanges(Requirespoweroffonexit)
Whenyouselectthisoption,thevirtualmachinepowersoffandsynchronizes
anychangestothedevicewherethevirtualmachineisstored.Theexit
behaviorautomaticallybecomes“PowerofftheACEinstance.”
Donotsynchronizechanges(ACEremainslinkedtothehost)
Whenyouselectthisoption,yourvirtualmachineissuspendedorpowersoff
dependingupontheuserpreferences.Nosynchronizationoccurs.Toreturn
tothestateofthePocketACEwhenitwasclosed,youmustopenthevirtual
machineonthesamecomputer.Ifyouopenthevirtualmachineon
another
computer,youhavetheoptiontoreverttothelastsynchronizedstate.
Alwaysdiscardchanges(Requirespoweroffonexit)
Whenyouselectthisoption,nosynchronizationoccursandanychanges
madetothevirtualmachinearediscarded.Theexitbehaviorautomatically
becomes“PowerofftheACEinstance.”
Inaddition,ifyouareusingavirtualmachineandyouencounterapolicyviolation,the
virtualmachineissuspendedandadherestotheconfiguredPocketACEclosurepolicy.
