Toopenaviewofallinstancesmanagedbyaserver,clicktheserverintheSidebar.An
exampleofanInstanceViewappearsbelow.
Aninstancehasoneofthreestatustypes:
Active–Theinstanceisactiv e.Itisavailableforimmediateuse.
Blockedbypolicies–Theinstanceisstillactivebutisblocked(cannotberun)due
toaviolationofapolicysuchasexpirationorcopyprotection.Fordetailsonthe
reasonfortheblockage,youcanviewtheserver’slogfortheinstance.
Deactivated–Thisinstancehasbeenpurposelydeactivated.Youmustreactivateit
tomakeitusableagain.
ExpirationdatesareshownintheInstanceViewintheValidFromandValidUntil
column.Ifthereisnoexpirationdatesetfortheinstance,thosecolumnsdon’tcontain
dates.

YoucanusetheadvancedsearchfunctionintheInstanceViewtoquerytheACE2
ManagementServerdatabasetofindoneormoreparticularACEinstances.
To search for an ACE instance
1ClickSearchintheupperrightoftheAvailableACEInstancespageoftheInstance
View.TheAdvancedSearchdialogboxappears.
2Specifythecriteriatobeincludedwhenthedatabaseisqueried.Typeyourentry
inthefieldsthatrequiretext.Choosedatesfromthecalendarpop‐upsfordate
fields.Inthedatefields,youcanenterastartdateandleavetheenddateemptyif
youwish.
