Running the Pocket ACE Instance
ThefollowingstepsdescribewhathappenswhentheuserrunstheACEinstancefrom
theportabledevice.
1Theuserplugstheportabledeviceintothehostcomputer.
2Dependingonthehostsystemautorunconfiguration,usersmighthaveto
manuallystarttheirPocketACE.
ForWindowshostsystems,autorunisincludedinthepackage.autorun
checkstoseeifVMwarePlayerisinstalled.Ifnot,Playerisinstalled
automatically.Iftheinstancedoesnotstartautomatically,chooseStart>My
Computer,andbrowsetotheremovabledeviceandrunthePocketACE.
ForLinuxsystems,youmustinstallVMwarePlayerfromthePlayerdirectory
ontheUSBdrive;forexample,iftheUSBdriveismountedat
/media/USBFLASH,navigateto
