Chapter 10 Pocket ACE
Steps for Creating a Pocket ACE Package
To create a Pocket ACE package
1StartWorkstationACEEditionandopentheACEmasteryouwanttouseasthe
basisforthepackage.
2EnsurethattheguestoperatingsystemandVMwareToolsareinstalledintheACE
master.
3Ensurethatthevirtualmachineinthepackageisconfiguredasyouwantit,then
ensureitis
shutdownandpoweredoff.
IfanACEinstanceissuspendedononehostcomputer,itcannotberesumed
reliablyonahostcomputerwithdifferenthardware.Asaresult,youmustensure
thattheACEinstanceispoweredoff,notjustsuspended,whenyoucreatea
package.

ClickNextontheWelcomepage.
5OntheNamethePackagepage:
aEnteranameforthepackageintheNamefield.
