Theuserwillbeabletoprinttoanyofthehostprintersthatareavailableintheprinter
selectionlistfromthePrintdialogbox.Theusercancontrolwhichprintersare
available
inthatlistbyopeningthetrayiconfortheprintapplicationinthehosttaskbar
notificationareaandselectingtheprinterstouse.ThetrayiconisvisiblewhentheACE
instanceisrunning.
Setting Runtime Preferences Policies
Youcansetoptionsontheruntimepreferencespolicypagetospecifywhich
WorkstationACEEditionruntimeattributestheusercanchoose.
Runtime Preferences
IfyouselectAlwaysruninfullscreen,VMwarePlayerfillsthefullscreenwhenit
starts,hidingthehostoperatingsystem.Youmightfindthisuseful,forexample,to
avoiduserconfusionaboutthedifferencesbetweenthehostsystemenvironmentand
thatoftheACEinstance.
Theusercanminimize
theWorkstationACEEditiondisplayandreturntothehost
operatingsystembyclickingtheminimizebuttononthetoolbar.Ifthemousepointer
isnotavailable,pressingCtrl+Altminimizesthedisplay.

OTEIftheACEmasteralreadyhasfourserialports,youwon’ tbeabletoaddanother
serialportforthevirtualprinter.Toenablethevirtualprinter,deleteanexistingserial
port.
NOTEIftheuserhasmorethanonemonitor,fullscreenmodefillsonlyonedisplay,
andthehostsystemisavailableontheotherdisplay.
