Getting Started with Setting Network Access
Togetstarted:Inthepolicyeditor,selectNetworkAccessandthenchooseoneofthe
followingoptions:
FullnetworkaccessforboththeACEinstanceanditshostThisoptionallowsfull
networkaccess,withnorestrictions.Thisisthedefaultsetting.Ifyoudon’tneedto
restrictnetworkaccess,verifythatthisoptionisselectedandthenclickOK.
RestrictnetworkaccessoftheACEinstanceand/oritshostThisoptionallows
restrictednetworkaccessthatisbasedonrulesthatyouspecify.
IfyouchoseRestrictnetworkaccess,youcannowspecifytheaccessrules.Workstation
ACEEditionprovidesyouwithtwomethodsforsettinguptherules:
