HostpoliciesdonotapplytoPocketACEinstances.Ifyouspecifyarestrictedhost
policyforanACEmasterandthenattempttocreateaPocketACEpackagewith
thatmaster,thepackagewillbecreatedbutthehostpolicywillnotbeincludedin
thepackage.
YoucannotviewchangestohostpoliciesinthePreviewmode.Ifyouwanttotest
theeffectsofsuchchanges,youmustdoatestdeployment.See

Getting Started with Setting Network Access
Togetstarted:Inthepolicyeditor,selectNetworkAccessandthenchooseoneofthe
followingoptions:
FullnetworkaccessforboththeACEinstanceanditshost–Thisoptionallowsfull
networkaccess,withnorestrictions.Thisisthedefaultsetting.Ifyoudon’tneedto
restrictnetworkaccess,verifythatthisoptionisselectedandthenclickOK.
RestrictnetworkaccessoftheACEinstanceand/oritshost–Thisoptionallows
restrictednetworkaccessthatisbasedonrulesthatyouspecify.
IfyouchoseRestrictnetworkaccess,youcannowspecifytheaccessrules.Workstation
ACEEditionprovidesyouwithtwomethodsforsettinguptherules:
UsetheNetworkAccessWizardtosetupaccessquickly,usingthedefaultsettings.
