Troubleshooting
Brewer Overflow
► Water setting may be too high – reduce the water setting.
► Bottom pause setting may need to be increased.
► Coffee setting may be too high – reduce the coffee setting.
► Coffee may be stale or not within specifications – replace coffee.
► Water temperature may be too high – reduce the temperature.
► Screen assembly may be dirty and clogged – clean or replace the brewer screen
assembly
(P/N - K310306).
► Screen assembly may be damaged – replace screen assembly
(P/N - K310306).
► Brew chamber may be cracked creating a vacuum loss – replace chamber
(P/N -
M044065)
.
► Cylinder may be scored or cracked creating a vacuum loss – replace cylinder
(P/N -
M044071)
.
► Teflon seal on piston may be worn – replace Teflon seal
(P/N - K110174).
Water Tank
Boiling /Overfilling
► Clean and dry the overflow cup.
► The equipment may have been moved or bumped.
► If water tank is overfilling, check the following;
o Water level probes may require cleaning.
o Water level probe harness may be defective – replace the probe harness.
o Inlet valve may be leaking – replace inlet valve
(P/N - E310018).
► If water tank is boiling over, check the following;
o Water temperature setting may be too high – reduce temperature setting.
o Temperature probe may be defective – replace the probe
(P/N - M210220).
o Components inside water tank may be covered with scale – delime water tank.
o Verify the wiring and connections to the water tank.
Not Heating
► The overflow cup may be full of liquid – clean and dry the overflow cup.
► 15 amp fuse may be blown – replace the fuse
(P/N - M018046).
► Thermal cut-off switch may be tripped – press the small button in the center of the
thermal cutoff switch to reset.
► If thermal cutoff switch trips with a full water tank, replace the thermal cutoff switch
(P/N - A210087)
.
► Verify the wiring and connections to the water tank.
► Check for power to the heater element. If power is present, replace the heater
element
(P/N - E310016).
► The heater relay may be defective – replace the heater relay
(P/N - M018R08).
► Temperature probe may be defective – replace the temperature probe
(P/N -
M210220)
