Downloading Software Updates
e) Connect the phone jack cable to the Data Link.
f) Switch on the power to the unit.
g) Press the “
ST A RT ” button on the Data Link to begin the downloading operation. Please
note that the new factory settings must be downloaded as well.
h) Once the download is complete, re-install the front board access panel on the inside of
the front door.
WARNING: Do not interrupt this procedure once it is in progress as data
being transferred may become corrupted, creating problems with the
operation of the equipment.
