Removal
1. Follow the procedures in “Repair Setup” on page 1-1.
CAUTION:
ESD damage: Make sure that you have followed the ESD precautions in “ESD
Precautions” on page xxii.
2. Turn the drive door knobs to your left to open the drive door.
Note: Older model libraries have two knobs per drive door; newer model libraries have overlapping
drive doors with two knobs instead of four.
Note: The following figure shows a typical cable configuration. Your cables might differ slightly,
depending on your drive type.
3. Disconnect the SCSI connector from the drive.
