Picker

Removal

1. Follow the procedures in “Repair Setup” on page 1-1.

CAUTION:

ESD damage: Make sure that you have followed the ESD precautions in “ESD

Precautions” on page xxii.

2. Make sure that the library is securely positioned on the bench.

3. Unlock and fully extend the drawer.

CAUTION:

Possible tape damage: Make sure that any cartridges are removed for the following

steps.

Picker damage: Make sure that you move the picker at the point noted.

4. Gently push the picker at its base and position it as shown below.

5. From under the library, remove the two T10 screws from the picker plate.
